The Reiki Story…

In the early 1900’s, a Japanese physician, Dr Mikao Usui set out to discover how it was possible to heal by laying on the hands. He was an experienced doctor and understood medicinal healing and diagnosis, but also believed in the power of energy as a natural healer. And so began a quest
that saw him researching, practising and
sharing his knowledge. His legacy was to
re-discover the ancient art of
universal (REI) energy (KI) healing.

Today Reiki, or some form of energy healing is practised all over the world, varying according to custom, tradition and teaching.

We are each creators of our own path and it is, therefore, up to each of us to divine how Reiki works best for us. Like breathing, it is unique and belongs to every one.
